In the past Ishida has used floor tiles like the Checker board as symbolism.

Is this foreshadowing for the Tsukiyama family being involved with the CCG? Or confirmation of the next Arc is involving them.

the CCG’s architecture looks a lot like the tsukiyama’s manor’s, but why would ghouls fund their killers? for protection?
